Through a poem by Elizabeth Bishop, “The Mountain”, Eva simultaneously reflects on two invisible borders. One of them is the worries and anxieties that may come with aging, as you cross a border into old age that you cannot ever cross back. The other one is the border between nature and culture, and how only one of them is conscious of itself.
