Cultural production is a form of self-expression and also shapes our identities and cultural meanings. However, it is very complicated for certain population groups to become cultural agents. For a more democratic Europe it is essential to reflect upon these challenges and ensure the participation of all people -especially those who are part of vulnerable social populations- in the production of culture.
